The problem this fixes

A client update shouldn’t start with five minutes of explaining who the client is, what was agreed and how you write. Claude’s built-in memory picks up some of that, but it keeps what it decides to keep. Paste in a paragraph of background and the draft still comes back sounding like it was written for anyone.

• The one-page brief template for tasks outside the Project, with a 90-second check before you send it.

Will it sound like me, and fit this client?

Your voice file tells Claude how you write and what you’d never say. Each client file holds that client’s people, decisions and rules. Every chat in the Project starts from both, so the draft is written for this client by someone who knows how you sound. You still read it before it goes anywhere.

If you already have Claude working

Claude’s built-in memory helps, but it keeps what Claude decides to keep, in its own words. Your clients, your rate and your house style need a record you wrote and can correct.

Context you retype is context you can lose. Context you write down once is context you can improve. The instructions and the four knowledge files get revised as your practice changes, so each conversation starts from the latest version of them.

Who this is for

Independent consultants, fractional executives and small agencies (1–5 people) who bill somewhere around $150–$300/hr, work in Claude’s chat, and want every conversation to start from a written record of their practice and clients rather than from whatever Claude happens to remember. No setup experience needed.

• Anyone without live client work. The templates organize a practice; they don’t invent one.
• Developers wanting a Claude Code or API setup. This kit is for the Claude app on web or desktop, deliberately, with no command line anywhere in it.
• Anyone whose AI tool is ChatGPT. Projects are a Claude feature, and this kit is Claude-specific. (The brief template and the thinking carry over; the setup doesn’t.)

Why now

Anthropic’s own guidance for its recent models says they do noticeably better work when they have lasting context about you to refer to. That context is what this kit sets up, and because it’s plain files, it carries over to whichever model you use next.

What it won’t do

It won’t do the judgment, the client relationships, or the advice you’re paid for, and it won’t make Claude useful with the blanks unfilled. Filling in the four documents is how Claude learns your practice. That part only you can do; the kit turns it into filling in a form instead of facing a blank page.

FAQ

Can’t I build this myself from free guides?
Yes, the same way you could write your own SOPs from scratch. The guides tell you a Project should have instructions and knowledge files. The kit ships them finished: an instructions block with the no-invention and price-floor rules already written, four templates with sensible defaults, and a worked example that shows how specific to be. You’re paying to skip the weekend it takes to put one together.

Do I need a particular Claude model?
No. The kit works with any current Claude model on any paid plan. It’s built on Projects, not on any one model.

How is this different from the Proposal-Closer Pack?
The Pack is one job, proposals, done in eight prompts in order. The Kit is the standing setup every conversation starts from, whatever the task. They use the same client example and the same way of describing who you serve, so they work well together.

What exactly do I have to fill in?
Four documents: who you serve, what you sell and at what floor, how you sound, and one file per active client. About 20 minutes for the first three plus 5 minutes per client, with a filled-in example to work from. If you can answer those questions about your own practice, you can fill in the blanks.
