Collection: Design Kits for Dawn Shopify Themes

These are the two design kits we sell for Shopify stores built on Dawn. The quickest way to judge one is to see this store in it. Open either kit and press its try-on button, and the whole site switches into that look, product pages and cart included. Look around for a while. The change happens just in this browser, and the bar above the header takes you back to our usual look whenever you like.

If you restyle your theme with an AI agent, the first pass usually takes a few minutes. The trouble comes a bit later, when you ask for one more section and the agent makes a fresh set of choices about colour and type that aren't quite the ones it made last time. A store's look shouldn't depend on which prompt got written that day. So each kit writes those choices down in a DESIGN.md that your agent reads before it touches the theme, and ships with a stylesheet for each style and two typefaces under the SIL Open Font License.

We made both kits from redesigns we worked up for this store's own theme. Each had to meet a written standard and pass its checks before a person signed it off for sale, and every text colour passes WCAG 2.2 AA contrast.

Feint gives a store the look of a clean legal pad, navy on white paper, with canary yellow saved for the one band on a page that's meant for the shopper. Cordovan puts it on a partner's desk instead: blue-black ink on bright paper, and leather for the few sections that ought to feel weighty. It comes in two styles, Oxblood and Prussian.

Both need a theme built on Dawn 13 or later. Horizon isn't supported yet, so if that's the theme your store runs on, neither kit is for you today. One licence covers as many stores as you like, yours and your clients'.

Open the kit whose description sounds closest to your store, and try it on before you decide.
